🎓 College Students
College can be an exciting time, but it also brings unique pressures—academic stress, social changes, and major life transitions. For some students, these challenges may trigger the first signs of serious mental health concerns, including psychosis or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
- Psychosis may show up as feeling suspicious of others, difficulty focusing in class, or noticing unusual experiences such as hearing whispers or seeing shadows others don’t.
- OCD may take the form of overwhelming worries about contamination, constant checking of assignments or emails, or mental rituals that make it hard to concentrate or enjoy campus life.
At TRACE Behavioral Health, I specialize in working with college students facing these challenges. Using evidence-based therapies like CBT for psychosis (CBTp) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, I help students manage symptoms, build resilience, and restore confidence in academics, relationships, and daily life.
With the right support, students can protect their wellbeing, stay engaged in their education, and create a foundation for long-term recovery and success.
